From the ‘Legends of the Beautiful Game,’ to the ‘Heroes of Qatar,’ World Reggae Supreme Cup tournament salutes the life and legacy of the late Brazilian soccer legend, King Pele – The Great.

Edson Arantes do Nascimento – adored as ‘O Rei’ of soccer, mesmerized us on the turf with his prowess, thirst and hunger for scoring goals. He championed the spectacular beauty of team spirit and FIFA World Cup magnificence that proved exceptional. It gave us the legends and the glory that we crave, in our hunger to lift football’s most coveted trophy – The World Cup.

Beyond doubt, and in the midst of these exciting victories and somber realities, we dedicate the British-Ghanaian rock band Osibisa’s 1976 classics – “The Coffee Song,” first sung by old blue eyes Frank Sinatra in 1946, as a tribute to the legend and the football fraternity.
