On the behalf of the management of World Reggae Supreme, it is a very solemn occasion for us, and yet one that is inspired by hope through the bravery and commitment encouraged by others, in the presence of a dangerous threat, and for these reasons we show our deepest appreciation and heartfelt gratitude. With this gratitude, it is very important to give our humble recognition to the sacrifice that all the healthcare providers, doctors, nurses, and other frontline responders across the globe has shown, in the confrontation to defeat the scourge of the deadly disease – the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), in which triggered a wave of panic and set off the current global pandemic. The pandemic has been travelling around the world with a rage, leaving thousands of death, destruction and economic hardship in its path. And as our frontline responders continues to work tirelessly and endlessly in the fight to save lives in unity and dignity. It is with our utmost respects that we take this occasion to express a very special “Thank You” to all of them, for their bravery, as well as their sacrifice in going above and beyond in the call of work duty.

The new strain of this infectious disease, identified in December, 2019 in the Wuhan capital of Central China’s, Hubei province, has become an international crisis of enormous proportion and deadly consequences. It has affected over 213 countries, areas or territories with cases; as well as over 175,000 thousand confirmed deaths, and caused more than 2.5 million cases worldwide, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), in their April 22nd, 2020 update on the Coronavirus Outbreak.

As we can imagine, these growing statistics provokes great fear, caused immense uncertainty and stirred up a vast amount of distress and anxiety among the human population across the globe – and still our emergency workers continues to brave the storm with strength and vigor.

The Coronavirus continues to advance in numbers and disrupting our daily lives and everyday activities as we know it – and yet our frontline professionals will never back down from the task at hand, to defeat this troubling virus. Frontline Responders have been taking on crucial and essential responsibilities and making critical decisions in the battle against COVID-19, and for these magnificent effort we say – Thank You.

We thank the security forces for their great time and effort, in upholding the law and maintaining order throughout the societies, at these difficult and challenging times. Collectively with the doctors, epidemiologists and scientists who are working relentlessly into the laboratories, conducting various researches – engaging into medical testing capabilities; and providing updates in the hopes of developing a treatment for the virus.

These efforts and more have brought about hope, and have laid the groundwork to potentially ease the fear among the people, as well as created the expectation for us, that the return to a healthy environment is possible.

These necessary measures have helped the public to stay informed, and have enabled us to corporate with the quarantined and mitigation process. It has also helped to facilitate the continued flow of vital logistical supplies to keep the world moving and engaged. Additionally, it provides a strategy to follow safety guidelines, and the implementation of precautionary procedures, for us to practice proper hygienic protocols, in which has helped to stem the spread of the virus, and its deadly onslaught on humanity. And for these reasons we communicate again, Thank You.

Finally, as we continue to play our part and follow the recommended guidelines that the healthcare professionals and first responders has advocate to us, to minimize the risk of infection from this lethal virus and its dangerous respiratory consequences. World Reggae Supreme will take the gravity of this occasion to extend our compassion and sorrow, unto all those who have experienced grief, hardship and the loss of loved ones to the vicious attacks of the Coronavirus.

Finally, as we continue to play our part and follow the recommended guidelines that the healthcare professionals and first responders has advocate to us, to minimize the risk of infection from this lethal virus and its dangerous respiratory consequences. World Reggae Supreme will take the gravity of this occasion to extend our compassion and sorrow, unto all those who have experienced grief, hardship and the loss of loved ones to the vicious attacks of the Coronavirus.

May God help and guide us to overcome in the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic; and as we go through this terribly chapter and difficult experience in our history, there are important lessons to be learned. Perhaps we will learn as a people of the world, to better able prepare ourselves in the fight for survival, in the event of another global pandemic or unforeseen disaster. May God and our first responders provide us with hope over despair; victory over defeat, and a brighter future for tomorrow, than the disasters of today – and for this, we say a very special Thank You, for being "Our Heroes."
